ABOUT ME
As Salaamu Alaikum!
My name is Dyese (Dye-ee-say) and I am a traditional birth worker. My middle name is Najuma (Nah-juu-mah), which is a Muslim girl's name that means 'Abounding in Joy.' “Birthing babies-Abounding in Joy" was created to represent my brand, Najuma Birthing because birth work is my calling. As an extension, I have created Najuma Wraps and Najuma Bakery. Come on this journey with me as we build families through pregnancies, births, baking, and so much more!
EXPLORE
Najuma Bakery.
Najuma Bakery was inspired by my late great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary Burks whose love for cooking and baking was deeply felt at her Sunday dinners. Now, as a home baker for over 12 years, I have continued her legacy with that same love for the craft. After various names over the years, my official baking business has been renamed Najuma Bakery to complement my other enterprises. Fresh homemade lactation cookies, lactation cookie mix mason jars, and starter baking kits are now available for families who wish to get their kids involved in this fun family activity! From the heart of my kitchen to yours, let’s bake!
